During our ICT session this week, our Digital Leaders shared their knowledge and expertise with their classmates to demonstrate how to combine coding with the wonderful world of Lego!

Lots of talking, listening, cooperation, reading for information and plan following on display.

We’re already looking forward to next weeks session!

PE-Getting creative and fit!

Over the past few, weeks we have been concentrating on Exercise and trying to improve our level of fitness.

Working in groups we designed, planned and set up a variety of stations and for our classmates to participate in. Circuits were created by each group.

After each lesson we discussed what worked well in each station and what could be improved for our next steps.

This weeks writing task was based around the genre of Instruction Writing. We combined our technology task of creating a 3D Spitfire, with our taught writing. We focused on verbs, adverbs and writing our instructions in chronological order. Check out our 3D Spitfires.

On Wednesday we were joined by drumming specialist, Kevin who introduced us to a variety of instruments. We worked as a team to create rhythms and plenty of…NOISE! we’re looking forward to the next sessions in the coming weeks.

Celebrating Success

Congratulations to this months Rm 12 trophy winners. We celebrate those who display kindness, hard work and those who have Improved the most during our school week.

Last Thursday, we were working in teams and we tried and tested a new coding program where we designed a sprite and background, made it more and changed its appearance. We also designed a game for the Sprite to take part in. Lots of fun & learning too!!!

Christmas Dancing

Christmas preparations are in full swing, and nothing says, ‘Christmas in a Primary School’, like hearing, ‘Jump, kick, jump, kick, turn 2,3,4!’ reverberating through the gym hall.
