St Mary's Primary & Nursery Cleland

Vision & Values

The specific aims of our school were formed by staff, pupils and Parent Council.

  1. To foster, through gospel values, a nurturing ethos which enriches the pastoral, social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs of the whole school community.
  2. To create opportunities for each and every individual within our school community to develop their unique qualities, skills and talents and to recognise and appreciate those of others.
  3. To provide opportunities for children to develop as confident, successful learners by providing a wide range of curricular experiences.
  4. To enrich pupil experience through planning a range of activities to develop awareness and responsibility for citizenship and the environment.
  5. To promote and encourage engagement with all stakeholders through consultation and collaboration and therefore enhance the provision of the school within the local community.
