We were delighted to welcome the children from Cleland Primary to take part in a morning, which was not only fun but helped us develop our understanding of Christmas.
Sometimes it feels like there is more ‘fluff’ than substance to Christmas and that the deeper meaning of Christmas is lost.
Through games, story-telling and craft activities, ministers and volunteers from the Church of Scotland gave us a valuable opportunity to rediscover the true meaning of Christmas.
A few comments from the children:
“It was really good to meet new friends and work with people from our local community.”
“I thought the puppet show was hilarious and it gave me something to think about.”
“Presents are great but so is Christmas.”
