St Joseph’s Primary School House System
At St Joseph’s, every pupil is proudly assigned to one of our four school houses: St Barbara’s, St Mungo’s, St Margaret of Scotland, and St Andrew’s.
These houses are more than just teams—they foster a sense of belonging, teamwork, and friendly competition across all stages.
Each academic session, our senior pupils in Primary 6 and Primary 7 have the opportunity to nominate themselves as candidates for House Captain or Vice Captain. After delivering their campaign speeches, pupils and staff from across the school cast their votes to elect their leaders.
Throughout the year, pupils earn house points for positive behaviour, effort, achievements, and participation in school activities. Monthly winners are celebrated with prizes, and the excitement builds towards our annual Sports Day, where houses compete for glory in a fun-filled day of athletic challenges.
Our house system encourages leadership, collaboration, and school spirit—values we hold dear at St Joseph’s.
