Outdoor Learning and Playground Squad: Mrs. Curran

We are working with the pupils and staff in our school to make our playground and outdoor spaces more welcoming and fun to use. We have been looking at ways to gather and recycle toys and resources that can be used outside to make learning more exciting and meaningful.

We hope to work with local businesses and community groups to source equipment and resources to help us to fully utilize our school outdoor space.

We hope that the children will be able to develop physical skills through active play, enhance problem-solving and teamwork through imaginative games, and build confidence.

For our outdoor learning spaces, we hope that the pupils will make meaningful connections between their experiences and the wider world.
