At St Joseph’s Primary School, we believe in recognising and celebrating the many ways our pupils shine.

Each month, we celebrate individuals from every class who have gone above and beyond—whether in learning, leadership, kindness, or teamwork.

Our monthly awards include:

• Head Teacher’s Award – for exceptional effort, attitude, or contribution to school life

• Curriculum for Excellence Awards – celebrating pupils who exemplify the four capacities:

• Confident Individual
• Responsible Citizen
• Effective Contributor

• Social Skills Award – linked to our social skill of the month

• Sports Award – celebrating determination, fair play, and physical achievement

These awards reflect our commitment to nurturing the whole child and creating a culture where every success—big or small—is valued.
