Our school meals are prepared on the premises and served in the lunch hall daily.  We operate a ‘three sittings’ rota to ensure that no child is always last to receive their food.  Primary 1 pupils are always First Sitting.

Primary 1 to 3 pupils receive a free lunch daily, to the value of £2.00.

In accordance with North Lanarkshire policy, we currently operate a cashless system in our dining hall.  The system allows pupils and staff to pay for meals without handling cash at the Point-of-Sale.  Payment cards are loaded with money via a cash machine located in the lunch hall.  Online payments have been  introduced across the authority and within Stepps Primary.
