We danced the night away at our Autumn Disco on Friday 6th October. Well done to our fantastic PTA and staff helpers for helping to make this another successful event for our super pupils.

Road Safety

As part of our People Who Help Us topic we learned all about the Lollipop person and how we can keep ourselves safe on the road. We talked about how important it is to look and listen and and only cross when it is safe to do so. We talked about pelican and zebra crossings and even went into the playground to practise crossing at our very own zebra crossing. Have a look at our pictures below and remember , look left and right and keep looking and listening!

Scottish Maths Week

During Scottish Maths Week P1M had a lot of fun learning in different ways and focussed on a different activity every day. Have a look at our pictures below and you will see our Maths stations in class (ladybird dominoes, shape pictures, counting cards and size ordering), our outdoor shape hunt and drawing, our outdoor number hunt and drawing and some work in class with our number fans where we practised showing the correct number and thinking about numbers before and after. We hope you’ll see how much fun we had!

Scottish Maths Week in P7S

We have a great time exploring all aspects of Mathematics and Numeracy during Scottish Maths Week.

We took part in outdoor problem solving activities, investigated if an A4 sheet of paper could stretch across the classroom and constructed the tallest, and most stable, shape we could.

Maths in primary 3/2

We have been busy this term looking at number and shape! As part of Maths Week Scotland, we went on a number hunt around the school and school grounds and we talked about how important number was in our everyday life. We have been doing lots of activities outside to help us to improve our number skills. Take a look at some photos of our maths work below.
