Two days to go!

Winston is very excited about everyone coming back to school on Wednesday, 16th August.  He is especially looking forward to meeting the new Primary 1 children.  As it will be a staggered start and collection for the Primary 1 classes, the times for each of the classes are listed below.  The P1 children will enter and exit from the main entrance Wednesday – Friday.

Miss Davidson, P1D – 9.20am and 2.30pm

Mrs. Shaw, P1S – 9.30am and 2.40pm

Miss Hood, P2/1 – 9.40am and 2.50pm (P1 children only)

We look forward to seeing everyone then!

School Crossing Patrol

Our school crossing patroller at Blenheim Avenue is sadly stepping down form her position from tomorrow, Friday 10 March.

Due to ongoing staffing shortages, the cover at Blenheim Avenue will be intermittent until the Council can recruit another patroller. We have not been provided with a timescale for this. We have been asked by the Council to communicate this information to parents/carers to ensure that they are aware that there may be no crossing patroller at this crossing in the morning or after school.

We have also been asked by the Council to remind parents/carers that, even when a crossing patroller is in place, parents and guardians remain responsible for ensuring their children’s safety on their journey to and from school.

We hope that the Council will be able to fill this vacancy as soon as possible.
