On Monday 31.10.16 Primary Seven took their invited guests on a journey through the years 1939 to 1945. Parents and carers marked off their train tickets as they travelled from station to station around the World War 2 workshop. They were taught about battles and planes, as well as evacuation and life on the home front. Key figures were introduced, such as the military world leaders of the time, but also significant civilians, such as Anne Frank. There were the celebrations of VE Day and ration tickets could even be exchanged for a cuppa!
Thank you to everyone who joined us on the day. We were most impressed by your completed worksheets!
