Primary 6 had a fantastic time sharing their learning about the Titanic with their parents/carers this morning. All our guests were issued with their boarding pass as they entered the hall. Each boarding pass contained the name and travel class of one of the passengers who boarded the Titanic for the maiden journey from Britain to New York. At the end of the morning, our visitors got to find out if the person on their boarding pass survived or perished in the Titanic disaster.
The children then ran a series of workshops for their parents/carers about the Titanic. Each group of pupils took ownership of their learning, planning, writing, organising and delivering their workshop to all of their visitors – an amazing achievement.
We hope our visitors enjoyed their Titanic experience and found it as enjoyable as we did.
