Thank you to everyone who came to support P4 at our Wonka assembly.

Term 2 Topics

Science: Major Organs

RME: Christianity – ‘The teachings of Jesus’ and Christmas ‘Baboushka’

P.E: Steps to Fitness, Scottish Country Dancing and Creative Street Dance

 

Literacy

Children will continue to read a range of fiction and non-fiction texts to develop deeper thinking, talking skills and to improve engagement using the 6 reading strategies.

Taught Writing: Children will carry out a weekly, formal writing lesson covering a range of genres.

Spelling: We will be following the North Lanarkshire Phonics to Spelling

Numeracy

We will be covering work in the following areas:

• Data Handling (bar charts, Carroll diagrams, Venn diagrams, pictograms)
• Subtraction
• Place Value
• Mental Maths
