Not only did we get to go on the pirate ship but we also got to visit the Riverside Museum. We have some very observant pupils in Primary 1S. Calum looked at the outside of the Riverside museum and said. “Mrs Shaw do you think they build that to look like the sails of a boat?” 

While inside the museum Holly was delighted to share her information with the rest of the group as she had been before but she kept saying things like:

“Mrs Shaw that’s a really old fashioned car!”

“Mrs Shaw look at that really old fashioned bicycle!”

and

“Mrs Shaw look at those really old fashioned buses!”

While all I kept thinking was that I used to drive a car like that

or I remember my bicycle like that!!!! (and no it wasn’t a Penny Farthing!)
