Ancient Egyptians Topic

Primary 3L have really enjoyed learning about the Ancient Egyptians. So far during art and design activities we have made clay scarab beetles and painted King Tutankhamun’s death mask. Our home work task was to create a fact file or create some Egyptian jewellery. I am sure you will agree it is amazing!

We have also based or taught writing on the Ancient Egyptians and have written a descriptive poem on the Egyptian God Anubis, a character description of Cleopatra and we have even begun an explanation on how the Ancient Egyptians mummified their dead.

We have investigated hieroglyphics and written out name using them.

Mrs Lochhead can’t believe the knowledge we now have on the topic. We have even created power point presentations about ancient Egypt to showcase our learning.

Primary 3L all agree this has been the best topic in Primary 3!
