Each week, we celebrate pupils who go above and beyond through our Headteacher Awards. These awards recognise pupils who show our school values in action and set a fantastic example to others.

This week’s focus was on Achievement 🌟 — celebrating pupils who have set goals, worked hard and reached something to be proud of. Whether through learning, teamwork, or personal growth, these achievements reflect determination, effort and a positive attitude.

It was wonderful to see so many proud faces and hear about the fantastic things happening across our school. Congratulations to all of this week’s Headteacher Award recipients — a brilliant example of what can be accomplished with hard work and perseverance!

Our Primary 4 pupils had a fantastic morning taking part in the P4 Basketball Festival at Ravenscraig. The event was a brilliant opportunity to build teamwork, develop skills and enjoy taking part in sport with other schools.

We are incredibly proud of how well our pupils represented the school. Their behaviour was excellent, and they showed fantastic sportsmanship, enthusiasm and respect throughout.

This experience supports Article 31 of the UNCRC – every child’s right to rest, play and take part in sport and cultural activities.

A huge well done to everyone involved — a wonderful day of teamwork, determination and fun! 🌟

We’re delighted to welcome all our children and families back for Term 2. This is always a special time in the school year, filled with energy, learning and plenty of opportunities to come together as a community.

Over the weeks ahead, we’ll be enjoying a busy calendar of activities, special events and celebrations as we build towards Christmas. From classroom learning and enrichment opportunities to whole-school gatherings, there will be lots to look forward to and many moments to share.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support and for being such an important part of our school community. We can’t wait to make this term a memorable one for everyone.
