About us

St. Brigid’s is a Roman Catholic Primary School which admits both girls and boys from Primary 1 to Primary 7. There are eight bright and spacious classrooms in the main building and two classrooms situated in hutted accommodation. The school also has a computer suite/ general purpose room. Our gym hall includes a fantastic stage for school shows and is also used as our school dinner hall at lunch time. Outside, there is a large tarmacadam playground as well as an extensive grassed area.

This session, we have 6 straight classes and one composite class. Parents should note that the configuration and number of classes in the school will vary year by year, dependent upon the number of pupils at each stage and the way in which the children are organised.

St. Brigid’s Parish

We are very fortunate to have our Church St. Brigid’s, on our doorstep. This means we can walk there for mass and other special times. Our Parish Priest is Father Stephen Rooney, who is also the Parish Priest of St. Ignatius. Father Sweeney, a retired priest, is resident in the Parish House. He also celebrates Mass.  Sister Maria Gorretti is also a valued member of our school community.
