We can’t believe it is the end of Term 1 already! We have had a fun, busy term settling into our new class and developing our skills across the curriculum. We have been exploring growth mind-set and examining the importance of a growth mind-set in achieving success. Through our topic ‘The Secret to Success’ we have considered what it means to be successful and researched the lives of people from the past and present who have overcome a range of barriers to achieve great success. We have created interesting fact files and applied the technique of pointillism to create paintings of Mickey Mouse. Furthermore, we have enjoyed deepening our understanding of the life of Thomas Edison through acting out events in his life during drama lessons. We are looking forward to working collaboratively and employing a growth mind-set to complete a STEM challenge after the October holiday.
