What an excellent first day at Gowanbank!

we have had the best fun! We have eaten loads and have had hot chocolate, cakes and we are ready for bed!
we cannot wait for more fun tomorrow 😁

We had the best time tonight around the campfire! We toasted marshmallows! We sang really loudly and danced around the fire! It was amazing!

Last week, we had our fabulous Christmas show!
Everyone took part and everyone did an amazing job.

We also looked at some angel art as part of our RE, where God sent a messenger to Mary, to tell her she was going to be the Mother of God.

Then we created our own angel art.

Primary 4 have had a busy time!
Last week, we had our class assembly. Everyone had a chance to contribute to the assembly which was based on our IDL theme of Rainforests. We had learned so much about the rainforests of the world that we were excited to share our new knowledge with our family and friends.

Even though the technology let us down…..we were still amazing!
After the assembly, our families and relatives were invited to our class where we had prepared refreshmentsand we showed them around our Rainforest wall display and explained what we had been learning about.

We think our art work is really super and we learned so much about the rainforest and the importance of the rainforest to our environment.

As part of our novel study on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, we carried out some ‘hot seating’ today. We had fun pretending to be the different characters from the book, then interviewing the characters to find out their views on events from the story.

We also enjoyed practising our French numbers to 20 today on our lovely new Smartboard! We can’t wait to explore all the cool features it has to offer.

We had great fun with Miss Walker from St. Ambrose High School this week as she visited us to deliver more science lessons. We did a really cool experiment on chemical reactions using water and vitamin C tablets. It was rather explosive!

We also had fabulous fun yesterday on our final day of our class topic on France. We had the chance to taste some different French foods and treats.

At the end of our lesson we carried out a survey to identify the most popular and least popular foods.
