Wonderful work with P2/3

We have been working very hard in P2/3 over the last few weeks. We have enjoyed sharing our fabulous stories with each other in the class.

P2 have been working hard with the concept of multiplication and division using cubes to help them share out equally.

P2/3 have really enjoyed learning about the Ancient Egyptians in their class topic. Through co-operative learning we have used our knowledge of hieroglyphics to make different words and create groups for our learning.

Next, each group was given a different source of information to analyse and everyone worked very well with their group members to find new information about their topic.

We have also really enjoyed spending time in the library with our P5 reading buddies.

Finally, we finished off our week working hard to create our very own stained glass windows using a variety of colours and cutting the tissue paper into different shapes and sizes. I’m sure these designs will look fantastic on our class Lent display board.
