The past few weeks we have super busy in p4 doing lots of different activities. A couple of weeks ago we had David the fireman coming in to talk about fire safety and how he makes a difference within the community. We learned so much and are grateful for David coming in to visit. 

We we were so excited and we asked lots of interesting questions. David even let us try on the fire brigades uniform to show what equipment he needs to protect himself. It was extremely heavy.

David also taught us what we should do if there is a fire within the house. We had to use our big loud voices to shout on him and tell him which room we were in. He came to our rescue and demonstrated a fire man’s lift!!

Also we have been doing some art in class and learning all about the artist George Seurat. He is famous for creating the art style pointillism and using dots to create fantastic pieces of  art. We thought we could try it for ourselves by using an under water theme. Check out some of our fantastic pieces.
