Paddington’s Present

Yesterday we got a letter from our class teddy bear Paddington. He told us he had bought his mum a present for Christmas but he didn’t know how to wrap it up. He asked if Primary 2 would wrap the present for him and write him a set of instructions so he will know what to do the next time. He left the present and some wrapping paper for us in the class so Miss Connor and Miss Christie set up a wrapping table and we got started. First of all we made a list of all the things we needed to wrap the present. Then we began wrapping, one step at a time. We all got a turn at coming out and completing a step and we had to think about what we were doing so we could write it down clearly for Paddington. When we were finished, we showed our beautifully wrapped present to Paddington and he was so pleased! We put the completed set of instructions into his suitcase so he can use them the next time he has a present to wrap. He said thank you very much to all of the boys and girlsĀ in Primary 2 for helping him!
