We have been learning all about the amazing Steve Irwin on the anniversary of his death. The children carried out excellent research at home and brought their facts into share with others.
We used statistics from his research in our numbers talks to explore addition and subtraction. We also decided to make our own Koala bears. We were concerned to hear about the Koala bear numbers dropping through disease and fires. We will explore this further when we look at Climate change next term.
We are so proud of how they turned out and we will put them on a wall display outside our room.
