We have been very busy and working very hard as you can imagine!

Mrs Carlin found a bird nest in her garden and brought it in for us to have a look at. We couldn’t believe a little bird had made such an amazing thing! We could even see a bit of the shell and some fluff from the baby birds. It was so interesting!

We then read a book called Lazy Ozzie as part of our Scottish Book Week activities. It was about an owl who couldn’t be bothered learning how to fly! This made us want to learn about other birds. We had a look at some Scottish birds and had a class vote on which bird we’d like to learn more about. The golden eagle was the winner! We will keep you up to date with our learning on this amazing bird!

Donations for the food bank filled our classroom and we felt very proud of ourselves for organising this collection to help our local community. We each carried a bag of food down to the local food bank and Pastor Stuart was blown away by the amount we had collected!

Miss Duffy is so lucky to have such fabulous, kind and hard working children in her class!
