Life In Primary 2/3

This week has been an extremely active week in maths learning about time. We had great fun estimating and timing how long it took us to carry out different activities. These activities included doing star jumps, writing our names 10 times and drawing a picture of ourselves.

We also worked as a group to decide whether certain activities would take seconds, minutes or hours to complete.

As part of our Electricity topic, we carried out a science investigation earlier today. We used a battery, a lightbulb and two crocodile wires to make an electric circuit. We had to work as a team to assemble the circuit and every group successfully lit up their light bulb.

Finally we would like to share some photos from our Zoo Lab visit last week, where we learned about how some different animals survive during winter.
