P6b Daily Plan – Thursday 23.04.20

Good morning. Here is the suggested plan for today.🙂

9.00 – 10.35: LITERACY
09:30- 10:35: Writing (ALL)

– Today I thought we could write a diary entry of what a day in lockdown is like. These are unusual times and your routine may differ from that of a normal day.

-Begin the diary entry by describing the day or your momentary feelings.
-In the body, discuss your what you have done that day/ future plans/ feelings about everything going on.
-Conclude the entry with a final remark or course of action.

Remember to include your core targets!

10:50-12:30: NUMERACY

Mental Maths
-Open the folder called ‘Mental Maths’ within the Numeracy section of our Glow page. Complete ‘Thursday’ of the second page for this week called ‘20. 04.20 Mental Maths 2’.
-Then practise the 11 and 12 times table.

Squares:
-Open the ‘Squares’ folder within the Numeracy section of Glow. Complete the decimals revision exercise called ‘Decimals page 5 23. 04.20’. Complete Q3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9 only.

Triangles:
-Open the ‘Triangles’ folder within the Numeracy section of Glow. Complete the task named ‘Addition with Carrying (tens) 23.04.20’.

Circles:
-Open the ‘Circles’ folder within the Numeracy section of Glow. Open the folder named ‘Addition and Subtraction’ and complete the task named ‘Chimney Addition 1 23.04.20’.

ALL: Sumdog
-Once you finish your tasks, play the challenge set on Sumdog. The house is also open too 😀
