Good morning everyone, I hope you have enjoyed your first week of the new term so far. It has been lovely to see all of your work and posts on Glow and Dojo so far this week. Keep up the great work!
Writing
Today for your writing task I would like you all to write a recount of Easter. You might focus on Easter Sunday, Easter weekend or the full two week break you had from home learning. Remember
- Introduction – remember the five questions – who were you with, when did your events take place, what did you do, where did your events take place and how did you feel?
- Paragraphs – include at least three events that happened eg, you had an egg hunt, you made an Easter bonnet and you baked an Easter treat.
- Conclusion – sum up your writing. What did you enjoy the most? How did you feel about spending the holidays at home? How did you feel about getting back to home learning on Monday?
- Remember your core targets for writing and each paragraph should have a sub-heading to tell your reader what it is about.
