Spanish products!image image image image image image

This  week primary 7 were asked to research the products of Spain. They put their information into posters and presented them to the class. Despite the wind and the rain, the children were able to bring these posters into school and wowed the rest of the class!

Punctuation focus

This week we began a new activity in literacy. We are taking a short time each day to practice our punctuation skills. We hope this will help us write with more accuracy in our writing. Our daily activities have been a lot of fun!

Jewellery making club

This was week one of our after school jewellery making club. The children from pr6 and 7 made beautiful St Andrew’s day bracelets.

The  highlight of our week was the visit from ZooLab. We learned all about being Eco friendly in order to save animal and insect species. We got to meet two friendly cockroaches, a tree frog called Francis, a tarantula called Beyoncé, a corn snake and a rat! It was completely brilliant! Thank you Mr Young for organising it!

Last but not least, we have been working with scale and today we enjoyed the challenge of being an architect for the day. We designed our own buildings using a realistic scale for our “blue prints” !
