Primary 4 update

We have had a short week at school last week but it was also a busy one. Every day, we work hard and have fun and try extra hard to get along with our classmates and make our classroom a happy and positive place to learn.
Here we are working on our spelling with our partners.

We also use a variety of reading activities on the iPads to help reinforce and practice what we have been learning.

Wednesday last week was the feast of the Guardian Angels and we went to mass to celebrate along with P5. Father O’Kane was delighted to see us all and it was a beautiful mass.

These pupils served on the altar for our mass. Well done.
On Thursday, we used a circle of clay to make these clay owls as part of our topic work on nocturnal creatures.
We will glaze them next week and share the finished work!
Our Emotion Works wall in class shows what we have been learning about. Our work this term has focused on the 6 cog model. We have added portraits showing different emotions, hearts full of joy and emotion potion bottles. It is important for us to understand how our emotions affect us and how we can regulate our feelings and emotions.
