Handwriting

Open the Literacy folder on Glow and click on Handwriting. Click on the Spring Poem. Copy the poem in your neatest writing. Remember you should be writing in a joined style. Don’t forget punctuation!

 

Comprehension

Open the Literacy folder on Glow and click on Comprehension. Open the document called Spring. Read the passage and answer the questions underneath. Remember to answer in full sentences.

 

Spelling

Open your group spelling folder on Glow. Choose one of the activities to practice your words for this week.

 

Maths

Espresso – 3D Shape

• Login to Espresso, click First Level, then Maths then Geometry.
• Watch the videos about 3D shapes.
• Now try the 3D shape activities.
• Click on Printable Resources to try the ‘Recognise 3D Shapes’ and ‘3D Shapes Around Us’ tasks.
• In Printable resources open the Tangram Shapes tasks and try the activities.

 

Mental Maths – Friday’s questions are in the folder on Glow.

Sumdog – Try today’s challenge. The house will be open for you throughout the day.

Topmarks Type Topmarks into Google and play some of the games to practice your maths skills.

 

ICT

Task 1

Type Newsround into Google and click watch to find out what is happening around the world. Do some research to find out more about one of the stories you have listened to. You could take notes and then make a Powerpoint presentation to showcase your learning.

Task 2

Use Word to redraft your favourite piece of work from this week. It can be one of Mrs Wilson’s tasks or one of mine. Remember a redraft should be an improved version of your work with no spelling mistakes!

 

P.E.

Make sure you get some exercise today. You could do P.E. with Joe, Cosmic Kids yoga or get outside into your garden and have some fun!

 

Fun Friday

Once you have finished all of your tasks choose something fun to do as a Fun Friday task, You might play an interactive game, do some more exercise or complete a craft activity. Have fun!
