Good morning everyone, what another busy week you have all been having, I have been keeping an eye on your work over the past few days and I am so impressed with all of the posts on Dojo and Glow, keep them coming please!

P.E.

Make sure you get some exercise today. You could do P.E. with Joe, yoga or another class you have found on youtube.

Writing

Today for your writing task I would like you all to create a fact file about someone famous.

First of all you will have to do your research and find out as many facts about your chosen celebrity as you can.
Once you have gathered all of your information you need to organise it into a fact file.
I have given you a template to give you an idea of what you could do. You might want to type yours up and make it look very professional or you might want to choose your own layout on a piece of paper.
Remember your core targets for writing, especially punctuation.
I will be choosing some star writers today so please send me your work. If you don’t show me your fact file, I can’t choose you!

Maths

Mental Maths – Thursday’s questions are next to the ones you did yesterday with Mrs Wilson in the Mental Maths folder. Have a go at them and I will post the answers later.

Espresso – Properties of Numbers

I have given you a document which explains how to access the activities on Espresso for today’s lesson.
Have a go at all of the different parts by using the videos, activities and worksheets. Let me know how you get on.

Let’s get crafty! Did anyone buy too much toilet roll over the past few weeks?

Use some empty toilet roll holders to make some animal creations like the ones below. If you haven’t got toilet roll holders, why don’t you try making some animals out of other things? I can’t wait to see what you all come up with!
