Here we are, taking part in Number Talks! We are using the sign to let the teacher know we have an answer for the problem. this is when we explore numbers and talk through our strategies for solving the number problems.

 

We know what capital letters match to the small sounds. We are learning to use these sounds in our reading and writing and we are learning to use the capital letters at the start of a sentence.

Look at how clever we are – we an make words with the sounds that we know. We can sound them out, blend them and read them.

Everyone has their House badge on and this lets everyone in the school know which house we belong to. We can win points when we work hard and behave well. Then, the winning house gets an extra play on Friday.

In maths, we are learning to put out pairs patterns for numbers up to 10. When we do this, we can see which numbers are odd and which are even. It also helps us recognise the numbers very quickly.

 

 

You can see, that we are also using money to put out amounts. Sometimes we use 1p and sometimes we use £1 coins.

Would you like to live in a house like this? Everyone designed a house for our Busy Street. We used different materials and they all look amazing!
