A very busy week in Primary 5!

 

P5 were very lucky this week. We got a special visit from headteacher, Mrs Donaldson! She had heard some fabulous things about this class’ work with Number Talks! She was very impressed indeed with all of our hard work! Well done P5!

We also had an amazing time for our first week at swimming! The boys and girls loved getting the opportunity to visit the Time Capsule to improve our swimming skills.

Eva said “While the first group were still getting changed, the second group got to watch a girl ice skating and we all cheered for her!”

Sophie M said “It was really good! We got to do a little assessment to test our swimming ability!”

Gracie “I really enjoyed playing chicken nugget, duck or hero!”

We also had the fabulous opportunity to show off our amazing Spanish skills to Mrs Bolland. She visited us on Wednesday afternoon to see how hard we are all working! She was super impressed!

Maddison said “We were learning all about the Spanish colours and we played Spanish bingo!”

Molly said “Mrs Bolland was very very impressed and we learned that she used to teach Spanish too!”

Very soon we will be doing a spot of Spanish themed cooking. Keep your eyes peeled for an update!
