Our week started off with a visit to the school book fair. We saw some lovely books and recognised some of them from our own class library.

Everyone had the chance to talk about the books they liked and to share our books with our friends.

I love sharks. I can’t wait to read this book.

We have read this book in class and we loved it! We also loved “Oi frog”.

I like the front cover of this book and I can see the “wh” phoneme in the title.

I think I might like this book. I think I can read some of the words by myself.

These two superstars have been working their socks off to learn some new sounds . They have made great progress and are showing off their skills by writing the sounds correctly. Well done !

I am learning some new sounds this week. I’m getting really good at my sounds.

I’m very proud of myself because I know these sounds.

In PE, we are learning how to play hockey. Firstly, we had to learn how to hold the hockey stick, then we had to learn to control a large ball. When we have mastered this, we will move onto a small ball.

We are learning to hold the hockey sticks with two hands.

We are using the big balls to practice controlling the ball with our hockey sticks.

We know how to hold the hockey stick.
