Primary 7 have had an excellent start to Term 3. They have returned to school prepared to work hard during this very important Term. During the past week the primary 7 children have taken on a special task called ‘The Garden Project’. We are delighted to have a garden area in our school and we couldn’t wait to go out and explore it!
We have written a letter to our local community to ask them to help keep an eye out for our garden when we are not in school. We hope to be able to thank them by giving them some of the fruit and vegetables that we are growing in the garden.
In this new term we are also enjoying looking at netball during our P.E lessons. We have practiced the bounce, shoulder and chest pass with our partners and we have even taken our defensive skills into group drills. Over the next few weeks we are looking forward to taking these skills into the game.
We have used our ICT time this week to develop our typing skills by using the Microsoft word software to choose and adjust the font, size and placement of text to type up our letters to the local authority.
Finally, we enjoyed spending some time reading in the library with out P1 buddies. It’s always great fun! 😁📚
