We had a great day celebrating World Book Day on Friday. We spent the day reading stories about bears, designing book covers, reading with our friends and listening to stories from our teacher. It was a great way to explore new books and talk about our favourite kinds of books with friends.

At the assembly in the hall, we had a chance to see other book characters too and listen to other pupils talk about their favourite books.

Here is a snapshot of one of our classroom activities today, where we all designed a book cover for one of our best stories, “We’re going on a bear hunt.”
