Snow much fun!

With a snowy start to the week P4/5 grabbed this opportunity with both hands and ventured out into the snow for some outdoor learning.

We made sure we were wrapped up warm before we headed outside! As soon as we got onto the snow we couldn’t wait to get started on our challenge!

We worked well with our teammates to see which team could build the tallest snowman 😃⛄️❄️ and we checked our snowmans height against a meter stick. It was very close with each group creating fantastic snowmen.

We really enjoyed our outdoor learning and getting a wee heat back in the classroom 😃🔥

Also this week we have been busy cooking when we made some mini Quiches. This involved careful preparation of our ingredients and following specific steps that allowed us to create this delicious food.

Finally, after some class discussions thinking about what makes us special and what things we can do as an individual to be a team player, we shared our thoughts on some jigsaw pieces to display on our new wall display that you will be able to see in the school foyer.
