A fantastic and frozen week in pr 6/7!

We had a very exciting week in pr 6/7 this week when we saw how much snow had arrived in Coatbridge. We went outside for a lesson in snow rolling and building of snowmen! It was great fun and we worked together to see which team could make the best structure.

Back inside,  in the heat, we have had a great week of target setting from our peer and self assessment. We are learning how to write recounts and we each have a target to achieve for next week. Working together helps us evaluate how well we we are doing. Our recounts are all about Evacuation. We have loved learning about this through our topic:World War II.

This week we have been learning about First Aid and heartstart. Kevin from Skillforce, came in with the Little Anne dolls to show us how to do chest compressions. We picked this up very quickly and we can’t wait to show our parents and guardians next week when they come into hear about our learning. We also learned about the recovery position and we tried this out on each other.
