Primary 1 – a new term.

Welcome back to our class blog. What a week! We have been busy and happy all week long, look and see what we have been doing.

First off, we started to learn take away, but we realised it was nothing new really and it was a bit the same as adding except the sets got smaller.

In the computer room we got back to using the skills we have learned by making a picture, this meant we had to click, drag, drop and use our thinking skills too.

Also this week, we have been learning about our own uniqueness and the uniqueness of our friends in RE . We wrote about our uniqueness for taught writing and read our work to our class mates.

Here are our friendship clouds. We did them cooperatively, and worked as a team, just like our mindful characters Tina and Tim the tortoise.

At the end of the week, we like to talk about our learning and make our 3,2,1,poster, thus helps Mrs Carlin think about what to do with us next.

We read a great story today about a dragon kite. We talked about kites and asked the teacher if we could make kites, she said probably….which means yes!

After our play area time, we chose a feeling face to tell each other how we felt today.

You can catch up with more of our learning on Twitter.
