We had another great week in primary seven this week. We began learning all about laws and how a law is made in Scottish Parliament. Then we looked at persuasive writing. After learning the features of persuasion, we then wrote a draft letter for Nicola Sturgeon about our ideas for possible new laws in Scotland.
We also started learning about colons and semi-colons. We have been looking at their purpose and when is best to use them. It was tricky but great fun!
This week in PE, we have started to become even more skilled in badminton. We are getting more confident with serving and hitting back to our partners. Mrs MacFarlane said we have some excellent players in our class.
This week we have had great fun painting our politicians for our Scottish Parliament wall display. We can’t wait to share our finished wall with you next week.
Pr6/7 have been enjoying some parental engagement homework this term. We have had children playing board games with family members, children cooking meals with and for their families and children were even asked to set tables, make beds and tidy up at home! What great homework! Getting everyone at home working together!
