Primary seven have been sent crazy this week with long division!

Just as we were getting used to chunking, the next challenge arrived… Dividing by more than two digits! There were smiles all round however when children realised that the chunking method could also be used.  “The sums aren’t so bad!” said a few.

“Ah now I get it! ” said another.

The feeling of achievement was bursting out the room. Well done seven’s.
