Catch Up With P2/3

This week in Primary 2/3 we have been busy learning about the story of The Rainbow Fish. We became familiar with the story and characters and explored one of the important messages behind the story; the importance of sharing.

We used card templates, lollipop sticks and lots of sparkly bits to create our own Rainbow Fish stick puppets.

We then used our puppets in drama to re-enact parts of the story. We added our own dialogue and some of the class were confident enough to perform to the rest of the class.

As well as thinking about the characters and story, we did some research on the setting of the book. We looked at videos and picures of some famous coral reefs and decided to make our own masterpieces. We used modelling clay to design our own coral reef then filled them carefully with water.

Mrs Maclean was so proud of our hard work that she decided to display it for all to see. We definitely are a talented bunch!
