It was the last week of our jewellery making club and the children amazed me with their shambala making skills! Even our visiting teacher, Mr McGinty joined in and made one too! We celebrated with some chocolate doughnuts!

 

Pr 7 have working very hard on their topic of Spain and we have studied a focus of bullfighting. The children have worked conscientiously reading,researching, collating results and facts. We began to look at both sides of  bullfighting and decided that some people want it to be banned while others would like the tradition to stay.  We decided to have a class debate on it and invited Mr Young in to watch.  He was completely impressed with our persuasive language and how we can disagree with each other in a positive way. He even said there could be a few future politicians in our class. Watch this space!
