The Expedition Section of the Duke of Edinburgh award is lead within the school by specific teachers who have gained an Outdoor Qualification and have lots of experience navigating and camping in the outdoors. All staff regularly undertake CPD courses to ensure their knowledge and skills are up to date. They also all hold a valid Emergency Outdoor First Aid Qualification. The staff involved in the Duke of Edinburgh Award are:
