In the light of current events, the staff at the NLC literacy base, has created home activity grids for Literacy & Language which you may find helpful.  We’d love you to upload any activities your child completes,  to their Seesaw account.

All access codes have been issued, even to children that have not been at school either via messaging or post.

P1-7 teachers have provided learning activities on ‘Seesaw’, P5-7 have added further on Glow Teams and some further activities have been added here on this tab class list. There are also numerous lists of free learning resources shared online.

However, we are realistic. We understand computer access can be limited especially in homes with more than one child.  All learning activities have been added as  suggestions to support routine.  There is no daily expectation set. Nothing compares to proper trained teaching activities which will hopefully resume soon when all children are back at school. We will work tirelessly to ensure children have access to resources and teachers will be in daily communication while they can be.

We will also ensure all our children are able to catch up on their learning and oppertunities, including our P7 leaver oppertunities.
