St Aloysius Primary & Honeywell Nursery Class

Dear Parents/Carers and wider St. Aloysius and Honeywell Community,

August 2024

I am also pleased to introduce myself as Acting Head Teacher at St. Aloysius Primary and Honeywell Nursery. I am also delighted to set up this school website to support communication.  

It is my pleasure to support the school while the substantive Head Teacher is seconded. My substantive post for the last 9 years has been as Head Teacher of St. Andrew’s Primary and Nursery in Airdrie. I am also the Cluster Chair for St. Margret’s High School and an Associate Assessor for HMIe.

I worked in St. Aloysius for 13 years from 2002 to 2015 as a teacher and latterly part of the management team. Therefore, I am delighted to return and lead the school and nursery.

I am passionate about the school and feel extremely proud and honoured to have been asked to lead equitable approaches to raising attainment and achievement. I look forward to working very closely with the children, staff parents and wider community.
