Join us this Friday 26th March @7pm for our 2nd Family Quiz Night.

• Log into our Whole School Team and have your brains at the ready.
• You will need at least 2 devices to play- one to watch the Quiz and leaderboard on and one as a buzzer to answer the questions.
• You can either download the Kahoot app on your mobile device or log in through the website kahoot.it
• Game code will be given out at the start of the meeting. You can play as a household team or compete against each other by using your own devices.
• No Googling!
• We play for fun but there will be a couple of prizes of offer.
• Hope to see lots of you there.

Hello friends of St. Mary’s,

We hope the return to school will allow everyone to feel positive that a return to something more normal is on the horizon.

Mindful of the economic pain suffered by many we wanted to reduce stigma in school so will be providing PE kits, including gym shoes for every pupil. We are also providing stationery for in school and home learning. We recently put out a request for help with the cost of sports bags to store kits in and were asked to create a just giving page so that the people who were in a position to support us could do so.

Similar to many others we have had no fundraising activities due to covid but this doesn’t mean we have any less need of the funds raised.

Our nursery would like to buy resources to inspire creative play and friendship building.

Big Pedal has now been running for 11 years.

It has inspired hundreds of thousands of pupils, staff and parents to take active journeys to school.

This year we’ll encourage pupils to see their local area from a new perspective.

We’ll support them to learn about the benefits of active travel and discover amazing journeys to school from around the world.

Sustrans Big Pedal will go ahead even if schools are closed.
We don’t know exactly what 2021 will bring in terms of coronavirus lockdown restrictions so we’ve taken a more flexible approach to the Sustrans Big Pedal 2021 competition.
We have designed our fun and interactive school resources to be suitable for situations where pupils are learning remotely.
And, active journeys taken from home or physical activity completed at home will count as one journey in the challenge for pupils learning remotely.

We are so thankful that the majority of our children are accessing learning from home using MS Teams. This document provides further information on how to upload assignments and where to locate feedback left by the class teacher.
