I am very privileged and proud to be the Head Teacher of St Mary’s Primary School. Having taught in the school for a number of years I am delighted to be working with such lovely children and such committed staff.
At St Mary’s we aim to provide a happy, caring, industrious atmosphere in which children will achieve their maximum potential. We work hard to raise children’s self-esteem, develop an appreciation of their own self-worth and that of others, and encourage pride in their achievements. We deliver a broad curriculum which develops knowledge, skills and understanding according to the children’s age, aptitude and ability across all the curricular areas and we foster an awareness of moral and social issues which will help our children become global citizens. We support our children’s learning by fostering good home/school relationships.
I am committed to providing the best educational provision for the children in our care, working alongside other agencies and community groups to enhance learning and to ensure our children become Successful Learners, Confident Individuals, Effective Contributors and Responsible Citizens.
