Monday 25th

Living Eggs will be arriving today.

Alison Hay form NLC Early Years and Childcare will be in the nursery this afternoon.

Lynn will be in the Birth to Three nursery all week.

Tuesday 26th

Jennifer wil be supporting in the early level playroom whilst Jackie is delivering Play on Pedals to families at Jigsaw Family Learning Centre.

Wednesday 27th

Marcella  Kirk, Health Visitor will be in the nursery this morning.

Thursday 28th

Solihull Understanding Your Child with Jen and Louise.

Lynn is attending a profiling and planning meeting in Rochsilloch Primary and Nursery.

Jennifer and Liz will be in the nursery today.

Friday 29th

Lynn will be attending Wishaw and Shotts Practitioners forum this morning.

Children will be attending Dykehead transition this morning 11 am.

Solihull Understanding Your Child with Carol and Susan.

Parent information session for those attending Learning Outdoors at Shotts Nature Park with Nicola and Gillian. 10.45 am and 3.15 pm.

Lynn will be attending the Early Years Cluster meeting at New Stevenson Primary School

Easter Fun

On Thursday 24th March 2016, we will be having a little Easter celebration. There will be an Easter egg hunt in the garden, an Easter bonnet/hat parade along with a visit from a very large hoping rabbit.

Each child has been given an Easter Egg to colour in to take part in a competition from Davidsons Animal Feeds, who are this year going to supply chocolate eggs for all the children.

All completed sheets should be returned to your child’s key worker before Friday 18th March 2016.  Good luck everyone as there is a special prize in store.

This week parents are invited to attend a stay and observe a Nurturing Early Readers – Three Read Approach to Literacy session.  Please speak to your child’s key worker to arrange a specific day.

On Friday afternoon their was a near miss in the car park when two cars collided due to the unsafe parking of vehicles and of vehicles not following the one way directional arrows.

Monday 1st February

A big welcome to Ann Greecan , ASNa who joins the team today to support the children within the nursery.

We also welcome Lorraine Monaghan who will be taking up the post of Clerical Assistant on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning.  Lorraine will be collecting toy fund on Tuesday morning when the children are being collected.

Lynn will be in the Birth to Three playrooms this week.

Liz and Jennifer will be supporting the early level playroom today.

Siobhan is taking part in filming at the Learning Centre in Bellshill Academy High School, where she will be discussing the importance of attachment at times of transitions for children.

Vicky Scott, Paediatric Physiotherapist will be in the early level playroom this morning.
