Amanda out of the nursery today, Mhari supporting in the playroom

Pamela has resumed her job share position of working 2/3 day pattern.

Information session for parents with Lynn & Isabel regarding COVID-19 Contingency Plans for Service Continuity 9 am and 1 pm in the Parent Room.

Nurturing Nature Family Engagement Forest School this morning is regrettably cancelled

Join Jen this afternoon for a Big Chef Little Chef session, there are lots of spaces available for you and your child. 1 pm – 3 pm

Dykehead Primary School Parent and Child Transition session

1.15 pm until 3 pm at Shotts Nature Park, remember all children need a family member to support them. The morning session was a huge success watch Twitter for pictures

Monday 9th

Mindful Monday why not take a moment to breath with your child

Tuesday 10th

Amanda is out of the nursery all week, Mhairi and Isabel will be supporting in the Rainbow Room

Pamela is attending North Lanarkshire Councils Nurture Conference

Wednesday 11th

Gillian is out of the nursery today, Alethea will be supporting in Gillian’s absence.

Nurturing Nature family engagement week 3 8.50 am – 11.30 am with Nicola and Pamela

Thursday 12th

Nurturing Nature family engagement week 3 1.10 pm – 3.40 pm with Elaine and Nicola

Friday 13th

Lynn will be out of the nursery today.

Morning families transition event at Shotts Nature Park with Dykehead Primary School. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian we will be leaving the nursery at 9.15 am. Please bring a small healthy snack for you and your child. This will be an opportunity for your child to play in the forest with you and their school buddy. For more information please speak to Nicola.

Ann educational psychologist will be in the nursery this afternoon

Wednesday

There will be no Wellbeing Wednesday Group this morning

Gillian is on annual leave today, Isabel will be supporting the playroom

Nurturing Nature Forest School with Nicola and Pamela this morning, leaving at 9 am.

Languageland with Gemma, speech and language therapist

Lynn will be visiting St Thomas Nursery Class this morning

Reconnect with Siobhan at this mornings Mindfulness Parent Session 10.30 am in the Parent Room

Nurturing Nature Family Engagement session with Nicola and Elaine, who will be leaving at 1.15 pm from the Parent Room.

Friday

Story Massage with Chrisitne at 8.40 am and 1.10 pm in the Parent Room. “Aliens Love Underpants “ is this weeks theme.

Nursery to Dykehead Primary Nurturing Nature Transition session at Shotts Nature Park, this is for the afternoon children. Leaving at 9.10 am. Please note that the children do not attend for their normal afternoon session.

A little note to advise that whilst the staff are delivering Family Engagement sessions or supporting the delivery of transition with Dykehead Primary school, your child’s key worker may not be at their Welcome Group, or alternatively they may go straight to play.

Monday 17th February 2020

Lynn will be out of the nursery today.

Christine and Susan will be out of the nursery this morning, supporting their absence shall be Isabel and Amanda.

Tuesday 18th February 2020

On behalf to the centre Lynn will be attending the funeral of one of our previous parents Tina Henry, who was and still is an inspiration to our staff team.

Wednesday 19th February 2020

Rainbow Room Family Bookbug session with Amanda and Susan 9.10 am

Gemma Speech and Language Therapist will be delivering Languageland sessions today.

Thursday 20th February 2020

Isabel will be out of the nursery todayRainbow Room Family Bookbug session with Susan, Amanda and Mhari 1.10 pm

Friday 21st February 2020

Isabel will be out of the nursery today

Join Christine for the Family Story Massage using the all time favourite book Whatever Next , change of time for morning session 11 am and afternoon 1.10 pm.

Alethea will be out of the nursery this afternoon.

We are extremely grateful for all the snack donations which are received on a daily basis, especially bread and fruit. Without your generosity the children would not be able to have such a nutritious snack.

First cohort of morning children joining P1 friends from Dykehead Primary School as part of the transition programme. This session is for children only. Remember to bring a small healthy snack and dress for the weather. If you need to borrow waterproofs you can get them in the morning.It will be great to reconnect with the children from the school.
