The children have had opportunities to participate in many experiences within the forest school sessions, from fishing, den building, toasting marshmallows and hot dogs to creating a large scale spiders web. The children have been very inquisitive during the sessions and many an ‘I wonder’ question has been asked!
Learning within the Nature Park has supported these individual children’s learning styles within an environment which provides challenge and stimulates curiosity. The children are now keen to learn about the animals that live in the forest and their habitats. Next week is the final session with the children where a family member will join us to share what has been learned over the past seven weeks. We can’t wait!
